Tell me of your homeworld, Usul.
And we start the origin shit! Balancing to stories at the same time is kind of a pain in the ass, but it should pay off if I do this right.
The bottom panel was drawn by my good friend, Spencer, creator of Dungeon Crawlers, A great webcomic that ALL OF YOU SHOULD BE READING!
It should be obvious that someone that ‘s not me drew it, seeing as the style is completely different. I wanted their world to have a completely different feel then the rest of the comic, so Spencer will be helping with the next few pages in terms of inking and coloring.
if Gregor’s species are called the Ghre, perhaps that explains where his name comes from.
also, i fear for that bed he is currently lying onXD
Not only his name … but anyone else catch the correlation to the original Area 51 conspiracy theories and the popular “spaceman stories” of the 50’s and onward? Especially since they were gicen a nod in many movies, including Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Commonly known as “the grey” … which I presume is how “Ghre” is pronounced? 😀
Perfect title…
What do you call the mouse shadow on the second moon?
Why does that title line sound familiar? o_O
Who is ‘Usul’?
Don’t tell him! Let him squirm!
Meanie! 😛
Awww, you trying to worm your way out of this? How cute!
Ya’ kno, biznus as usul!Silly…
A pun like that can get you executed in some countries.
The spice! Remember the spice!
okay first, have to point out that one of the little house things looks like a butt, ’cause part of me is still five…
other than that? This is looking awesome X) and I’m eager to see more, love the look of Gregors home planet, not to mention you can just FEEL the cheap hotel feel in the first panel. The carpet, the bed sheet, the speckling popcorn spatter crap on the ceiling XD and again to the second panel! With a planet that close, is it a moon to Gregors planet? Or is Greg’s planet a moon that orbits around? The little snorkle-like houses, the watercolor-esque coloring…
welp, I wanna see more.
I love a good origin story. And I also highly enjoy Dungeon Crawlers. Fabulous work.
