Oh, hell yeah! Get’em Carver!
Stan’s the Man.
Yay, new page! I just came back here following my own recommendation when re-reading the Back Office archive, I’ve had a major pause in my webcomic reading. But now I’m back 🙂 Is there a way to know when this exciting thing “new page” happens for this comic?
I’m reminded of one of the finale’s in a Lackey series where an Unseelie Court Queen magics away a human’s bullets and thinks nothing of it. In the end the old retired engineer defeats her in style with the one liner something like: “Guess she’s never heard of quick loaders”
The same engineer who put iron filings in water and loaded it in a super soaker. Which was later turned into holy water by another elf. Iron + Holy Water vs. Banesidhe = bad day for bad guy.
It was a seltzer water bottle, causing one elf to disdainfully ask him if he was Chico or Harpo right before he squirted her with it.
I’m disappointed in you, Mr Carver. Don’t monologue, especially if by doing so you simultaneously give intel to the enemy, potentially prevent them making mistakes and telegraph your attacks. Just shoot.
The proper sequence is: Just shoot; then stand over the body and make your gloating, expository speech.
::smacks forehead:: Carver, you idiot, only villains do unnecessary exposition, SHOOT HIM! >.<
