No I would not give you false hope. . .
And there you have it, folks! Some origin shit going down! I told you I’d get to it, eventually, and it’s a coming!
In the meantime, go get some shit from the print store! Only $1.50 for shipping no matter how many you buy! that’s CRAZY!
Also Patreon has updated rewards, including a sketch cover copy of the first story arc, Happy Holidays,ย completely redrawn! And I will be putting up a Kickstarter so soon I can smell it from here. Smells like pumpkin spice….
(In case you’re wondering, the title is lyrics from the Paul Simon songย Mother and Child Reunion.ย I’m so witty).
Oooooo time to get the popcorn, this is gonna be good …

Niiiiiiice. ๐ I likes.
Panel 3: Typo in “spectrographic.”
Great comic!
How do you pronounce “Wharm before the Stharm”?
Obviously it is “Warm before the Storm” with an accent, just wondering what accent
That would be a Utah accent.
Yeah…that confused me because in my head I was hearing a Bostonian accent (Wahm before the stahm), but then I remembered that they were out West.
It’s similar to the Boston accent, with some Minnesota and a lot of lazy pronouncement thrown in for good measure.
Umm, have no idea what either of those accents really sound like
@Guesticus – I do, and mentally modelling the implied combo is twisting my brain. I’m mixing Boondock Saints and Fargo with just a dash of slurred speech …
… and it isn’t pretty. o.O
It’s a very ugly accent. I do my best to enunciate so as to avoid the worst of it, though I do catch myself dropping the ‘t’ in ‘mountain’ and ‘fountain’ on occasion.
WOOHOO!!!!!! INFO-TAINMENT!! Been re-reading through the archives to get my Gregor fix and the one thing that always drove me crazy was the lack of any kind of backstory. I’m SOOOOOO thrilled to be finally getting it!
Keep up the amazing work Tyler! Your artistic style and story writing skills both keep getting better and I’m very much looking forward to where this thing goes!
PS: Any more word on when you might get another Gregor Book Kickstarter going? I dont have a regular credit card, so I cant really do the Patreon thing (those reloadable ones cant be used for recurring payments, and that’s all I use online these days), but they work just fine for one time things like Kickstarter. Anyway, just curious…no pressure or anything. ๐
I’m getting the Kickstarter ready right now. Hopefully I’ll have it ready by the end of the month
floofy clouds! Space! Space thingy! PLOT. I kinda want to throw a quarter at the space thing… because it looks all shiny and metallic, I want to hear what noise it makes X3 I’m weird like that.
Aren’t we all? o_O
Ray has gone bye bye, Egon. What’ve you got left?
He used was either his mom’s dead or she sold it im thinking the second one because of how he looks when he sees the picture
Was thinking that maybe it had been either stolen or lost (with all hands onboard)
It’s so cute watching the wheels in your heads turning…………….in the wrong direction ๐
The wheel is only still turning because the hamster has only just left ๐
You’re both forgetting the other possibility – he said “was” because at last he knew, it was his mother’s. But he’s been gone from home … how long? He’s been on Earth at *least* since Katie was a young child and she’s now what … mid 20’s, early 30’s? Was recently mentioned but I forget.
So he’s been here at least two decades plus, that we know of. And that’s here on Earth, what other stops in between? And how much did he see his mother before leaving? May have been a while and with him out of touch anything could have happened.
So he’s just saying it *was* hers, but he can’t confirm it still *is* …
Well if then maybe his mom used it to get him to earth but it had to leave to keep the government from getting it’s hands on it
I knew that orb reminded me of something, I just couldn’t figure out WHAT. And then, it hit me: it looks like the Spider Ball!
You found me out. His mother is really Samus Aran.
