Several Bad Decisions Later….
Poor conflicted Katie! What will she do next?
The Alt Press Fest was great! Met a bunch of other artists, sold a few things, met fans, super awesome! I hope to do it again next year!
Next up is Salt Lake Comic Con in September and I’m working very hard to get a few more prints ready before then! I will keep you posted.
I also have plenty copies of “A Perfect Fit” to sell and will be putting up a link to buy it as soon as I find time. For now, though, if you want one just email me through the “contact us” page with a paypal email and I’ll send you an invoice. I’m charging $10 for the print and I’m thinking $5 for the shipping, domestic only.
Great seeing you on Saturday. I am really liking the print, I am glad I wasn’t the first and only one to buy the print. I was digging the sketch you were working on while I was there.
Can’t make comic con for two reasons:
1) it is during month end, so I am require to be available all day Friday and Saturday to stare at large numbers hoping there is no issues.
2) Already bought my VIP ticket to beerfest in August
okay umm, not to nit pick but where did that sling come from? Despite that arm being damaged it’s kinda been swinging freely beside her, or being moved about as if undamaged. Did Chloe give it to her or something?
Also sucks I couldn’t make it to the Alt thing… ugh! Maybe next time if I can get over there or something, come find you at the con thingy, get a poster and ask you to sign it or something, that’d be cool.
All will be revealed, my child!
What are you talking about? She has had her right arm in the sling for some time, just we have been seeing her unslung left arm the last few pages
No, she’s right. Katie was sans sling at the bank.
O_o She was? o_O
Go back and look, I need the page views.
probably re broke her arm when she threw herself on Chloe or forgot her “safe word” during her bondage session π
She is going to keep Chloe and break up with whatshisname?
That draws back to a comment I made on the last comic: we have no idea who Sean is.
In my humble opinion, perhaps putting a temporary hold on this plotline until further development can be made for Sean is in order. It’s hard to feel like she’s making a mistake when we have seen Chloe, have investment in her as a character, have seen her interacting with the cast, and most importantly, occupying Katie’s thoughts more than Sean.
Something I told a writer friend of mine while I was editing some of her work: even if you have a complete idea of what is going on behind the scenes, if it’s never shown on the page the reader has no clue. Sean needs a lot more “screen time” before I can say Katie should be conflicted.
And in all honesty, at this juncture the plotline has gotten to the point it’s nearly the whole comic, and Gregor has been nearly sidelined.
I see what you’re saying but keeping the audience in the dark is kind of a symptom of webcomics. If this were a comic released 22 pages at a time you’d be willing to wait past the THIRD PAGE before saying that a character has been sidelined.
*chuckles* Alright, that’s fair.
Well….. At least Katie genuinely feels bad about it?
That’s the look of sweat, self-loathing, and shame if I ever saw it.
Also, Awwwww, we missed the bad decision making.
Been a while since we’ve seen Katie from a side view and it makes me realize … forget her arm, how has she not broken her BACK? π Has Grey used some alien technology to apply antigrav to her bra, or something? Speaking of which, that is an invention I would like to see but probably not in my lifetime – the true answer for women with larger chests, a gravity lens molded into their bras, heh.
