Sorry this is so late, loyal Gregorians! If you must know, this past weekend I turned 34 and to celebrate I smoked a turkey, which consumed a fair amount of my time. As I type this I’m making stock from the carcass and I anticipate that it will be a wonderful thing.
Those of you that have won prints from the FB contests, I will be sending those out this week. I have just been crazy busy, so look for those in the mail!

Wait, the hyper-intelligent alien women choose a leader based on who’s tallest? Is it because they’re basically all equally qualified on paper and they just needed something arbitrary to pick who’s in charge or is this a deeply flawed and archaic society? My money is on the former, but I realize that’s no guarantee.

Except it didn’t say they are all equally intelligent, it said they are all geniuses. One can be a genius and still not be as smart as someone else.
Perhaps since geniuses can be intelligent in different ways they figured the only fair way to differentiate one from another without belittling a school of thought in the process would be to use a completely arbitrary feature to use as a means of selection?
