When Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don’t eat the tourists
Woo Hoo! New page! I can’t even tell you how long I’ve been wanting to do this page! I’ve had that little line from splash mountain rattling around in my head ever since I came up with this storyline! Glad I finally got to use it!
In Other news! I’m currently in the process of compiling a store!!!! it’ll be on CafePress so that I don’t have to buy a bunch of stuff that won’t sell. If the CafePress store goes well I’ll probably start doing it in house.
Also, the new wallpaper should be up some time this week. Once I post that I’ll put up a page where you can get all of the past wallpapers!
a book that got made into a summer action flick?
I never could bring myself to read the books, what with professional jealousy and all. The film was fun, but it took itself too seriously. Good action scenes which made it worth the time to watch it, but then the script and actors seemed to forget they were in a story that was meant to be more tongue-in-cheek.
I really want to see Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Mr. Darcy pondering what to do upon being bitten for about half and hour would have me laughing so hard I don’t think I could survive it.
Well, as I’d never even heard of those books I still have to agree with the guy in the last panel and through in an extra comment for him to digest. Apparently Hollywood is starting to run low on big name novels to screw with and is starting to work on ruining anything they can get their hands on and don’t think they’ll get sued for screwing up.
By “the guy in the last panel,” do you mean Abraham Lincoln? 😛
You do know they’re doing a film called Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, right? I’m all for parody and such, but if it’s based off a book by the same guy, I can’t help but think the dude’s a one-trick pony. Of course, since my favorite thing to do is look at history and come up with ulterior motives for famous people’s actions, I’m not entirely certain I can look at the situation objectively since this trend comes close to treading on my toes.
Cool to see Honest Abe losing his temper. Dude was a giant back in the day.
